What is our idea of ​​heroes? He is probably tall, muscular, with huge biceps, bristles and dark glasses. But, in fact, it is just a movie image. After all, real heroes are among us, and you cannot distinguish them in the crowd. It is such a hero that lives in the city of Ust-Kut, in the Irkutsk region, his name Bogdan. One evening, two friends went home. Suddenly, someone’s cry and a cry for help were heard. They were quite near the river. It became clear immediately: someone sinks. For a long time, Bogdan immediately rushed into the water, and his friend ran for help.

Bogdan had to swim about a kilometer in the dark to find a drowning. It turned out to be a little girl. The guy grabbed her and, overcoming the current, swam to the shore. All this time he tried to talk to the baby so she would not be frightened. After a while, another man sailed to Bogdan, and together they successfully pulled the girl ashore. As it turned out later, Bogdan Ogorodnikov works as a rescuer at a local river club.

He is a very good swimmer and knows how to provide first aid to a sinking person. The benefit of the latter was not needed. The girl was taken to the hospital: thank God, she was not injured. Then the police began to find out all the details of the event. And Bogdan Ogorodnikov was officially awarded the medal “For salvation of the drowning”. Here he, a real hero – modest and honest!
