Svetlana Kovalevich from the village of Glinna, Rokytne district, 45 years. Her older son is 27 years old and less than a week younger. The 19th, the child was born on the birthday of Svetlana-Peter. The weight of the newborn is 3 kilograms of 900 grams, height is 62 centimeters. Like the previous 18 times, Svetlana gave birth to herself. Both I and Peter grew up in large families. My family had eight, and my mother has 15 children. Each of these children now has a large family.

It turns out that now the mother’s mother has 98 grandchildren! By the way, four of our elders already have children. Therefore, I have not only 19 children, but also 13 grandchildren. I couldn’t even imagine before the marriage that I will have so many children. For some reason, I thought it was no more than four.

Of course, it is difficult for me. Especially now, because I am not young. A few days after the birth of Nazarchyk, I turned 45. Over the years, there were unsuccessful pregnancies, three times the fetus died, and bleeding was opened twice during childbirth. And all this is reflected in health. But at the same time, children are true happiness.

Our children do not know what jealous or envy is. On the contrary, they are looking forward to the emergence of a new child. When I was waiting for Nazar this time, the younger was asked: “Mom, when will he appear?” Even our backyard, which is only one and a half years old, does not depart from a newborn brother. She is a smart, she walks and talks for ten months. Already, he calls all family members by name.

Older girls help the farm. We also have a cow, a pig, and chickens. We live at the expense of our farm. And in the summer, people and older children are engaged in seasonal work – they collect berries for sale. When they go to collect berries, I am especially not easy – I remain alone with young children, and at me the whole house. It is necessary to put order, feed cattle, cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is necessary to prepare constantly and in very large volumes.

For lunch, the first is a bucket of borsch or soup, which usually goes in a day. If dumplings, then at least 200 pieces at a time. If we make twists, then the jars are 300, no less. From stocks to the winter you need at least 70 bags with potatoes. There is nothing unusual for us, we are used to. But the more children help, the better. We get up in the morning, cook for our family breakfast. While everyone eats, it’s time to cook lunch. ” Svetlana Kovalevich and her husband do not exclude the appearance of the twentieth child!
