When a man and a young girl flew from Seattle to San Francisco, the stewardess Alaska Airlines Shelia Frederick suspected something was amiss. The man was well dressed, but the girl was not and refused to look into someone’s eyes.

Performing her work on board the aircraft, Shelia could not stop thinking about the girl and eventually came up with a brilliant plan that demanded real courage. The courage, which meant that this young girl was saved from a dangerous situation.

Shelia could not ignore the girl and desperately tried to look into her eyes, giving snacks on board the aircraft. She shared her suspicions with a colleague, and they worked together to distract the man while Shelia tried to attract the attention of the girl. “In the end, she raised her head, and the expression of her eyes was simply heartbreaking, so I apologized and asked to return and just leaned,” Shelia said in an interview with the program “Good Morning, Britain”.

She came up with a brilliant plan, placing a sheet of paper and a pen in one of the bathrooms of the aircraft, and then blocked it, with the aim of opening only for a girl. While her colleague attracted the attention of a man, Shelia pointed to the bathroom and pretended to write. Then she began to wait, hoping that the girl would understand.

Leaving a sheet of paper and a pen in the bathroom, the girl, fortunately, apologized and went to the toilet. The man stayed with her near the bathroom, but Shelia refused to leave this place and looked after the man. “I left the newspaper in one of the bathrooms,” Shelia said. “She answered the newspaper with the words:“ I need help. ”

Shelia continued to communicate with a young woman that she saved from trafficking in people, and over the years they talked several times.
