I said goodbye to my wife because she could not have children for my children. But at my 52 years I was urgently called to the maternity hospital. I went there, and what was surprising when I saw my ex -wife on the bed, and next to her two newborns … At the age of 52 I was unexpectedly called from the maternity hospital.
Suspicious, but at the same time interesting, I decided to go there, but only to witness a wonderful spectacle: my former people on the bed, next to her two newborn babies. “Too 49, and we have already divorced,” I mumbled, not believing in my eyes. She said she was pregnant, not knowing it. It was an unplanned consequence of our farewell – she explained, but she did not require me.
We have been a childless couple all our lives. Despite the fact that we wanted children, our efforts were in vain. Luda was a full woman, and she added weight in the last years of our difficult relationships. The absence of children and the prospect of lonely old age led to quarrels, the culmination of which was our separation. The news of pregnancy was a surprise because its appearance did not give any signs of this.
But when she confirmed that our children are healthy, I was in love with joy. That evening, I bought an expensive ring and a bouquet of flowers, made a proposal again – and we reconciled. Now, two years later, despite our old age, we are satisfied with life as the parents of two growing children.
